El Pollo Guapo is growing! We are interviewing for a part time dishwasher to join our team.
We are looking for thursday through sunday availability.

· Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
· Prepare food for service (e.
g.
chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
· Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
· Answer, report and follow executive chef’s guidelines
· Clean up station and take care of leftover food
· Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
· Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
· Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
· Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area including walk-in, dishroom, floors, walls etc.
· Wash kitchen utensils, pans, dishes etc as necessary
· Create and monitor prep list
· Properly plan for all catering events
· Place all orders as necessary on a daily basis
· Complete weekly food inventory and submit to Executive Chef
· Clock in and out on a daily basis
*Requirements*
· Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
· Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
· Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
· Familiar with industry’s best practices
· Strong Communication skills
*Physical Requirements*
· Work may be fast paced and a high degree of quality and accuracy are required.
Must maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time
· Expected 45-50 hour weeks, rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Will be exposed to possible food allergens including but not limited to; meats, fish, nuts, dairy, and oils.
· Will be exposed and expected to properly use cleaning chemicals
· Lift up to 40lbs constantly
· Lift from floor to shoulder constantly and overhead infrequently
· Twists, reaches, & bends frequently
· Listen to and comprehend instructions from staff and customers over background restaurant and equipment noise constantly
* Frequent hand washing required
