*Job Summary:* Being an ambassador for our restaurant brand by playing a key role in contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen during service and ultimately meeting our customers’ expectations and satisfaction.
Prep, prepare and cook in our wood fired ovens quality pizza ingredients that meet our restaurants specifications.
Set up cook station for pizza menu responsible for inventory and maintaining sanitation standards.

*Functions and Competencies:*
* Prepares and stores pizza dough
* Prepare food for service; cleaning and chopping ingredients, meat, and/or preparing sauces as directed and to restaurant standards
* Working with servers to ensure that food orders come out simultaneously, in high quality, are completed according to request and in a timely fashion.
* Oversees and maintains quality of pizzas before they’re served to guests
* Collaborates with staff on availability of menu items
* Resolves any customer complaints with diplomacy
* Excellent understanding of wood fired pizza cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
* Ensure station operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and all regulations followed
* Appropriately store and/or dispose of leftover food according to the restaurant’s standards.
* Ensures cooking stations are sanitized and prepped with necessary tools and equipment throughout the shift
* Washing, cleaning, sanitizing the station, cooking utensils and proper storage of the equipment at close of the shift
* Orders supplies, maintains inventory, creates budgets to ensure profitable food cost
* Trains other cooks in the preparation process so all meals are uniform
* Maintains and monitors regular maintenance on equipment
* Comply with all restaurant safety standards.
* Accuracy in executing assigned tasks.
* Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.
* Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Possess excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
* Additional requests as needed for the smooth operation of the shift.
*Education and Training:*
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Previous restaurant experience
· Previous pizza experience, wood fired preferably
· Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field.
· Culinary school diploma
· Knowledge of food industry’s best practices and safety standards
*Salary: *
Based on experience $16.
00 to $20.
