Embedded Systems Engineer

MUST BE IN THE US! Job description Position is an individual contributor focused on supporting the electronic machine controls for new product development in welding machines, portable machine tools as well as high pressure testing applications.
The qualified person shall understand product requirements and be capable of designing, testing, and validating a solution with the product development team members that provide value to the end user application.
The person shall be able to work in a cross functional product development team to ensure all product features and functionalities are defined, designed, documented, and validated in meeting customer/market requirements with a focus on schedule as well as meeting project budgets.
The person shall have skills in embedded system design as shown below: Job requirements BSEE degree or equivalent degree in Math/Sciences and extensive proficiency in software engineering.
MSEE preferred.
Three to five years experience in software design (C++ preferred) in a manufacturing environment.
Five to ten years experience in digital and analog circuitry design.
Familiar with working in a project-oriented environment capable of taking a project from concept to finished product as directed.
Proficient in CAD programs (SolidWorks and/or Inventor preferred) and all Microsoft Office applications.
Detail oriented with a focus meeting deliverables.
Project management experience with and understanding of critical path deliverables.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
