Legal Assistant

Two years + law office experience.
Estate and probate experience a plus Mature individuals are encouraged to apply This is an opportunity for the right person to do interesting work in a highly positive, collegial environment.
You will be responsible for administrative tasks, including: ► Office operations ► Maintaining files ► Scheduling appointments ► Purchasing ► Producing estate planning documents from dictation You will be responsible for some aspects of estate administration, including: ► Identifying probate and non-probate assets, obtaining values and other information ► Preparing and e-filing probate forms and documents ► Assisting beneficiaries with life insurance claims ► Maintaining and updating estate files You should be: ► Highly organized and efficient ► Meticulous and able to pay close attention to detail ► Able to speak and write grammatically correct English and be a strong verbal communicator ► Comfortable with technology, MS Word and Excel required; willing to learn new applications We will offer a generous compensation to the right person.
This position is for three days per week.
