SUMMARY OF THE ROLE As a Renewal Specialist at Finalsite, you'll play a pivotal role as the primary sales interface for renewals, managing the centralized renewal agreements for our NY BOCES clients.
Your responsibilities include processing renewal contracts, pricing negotiations, and addressing various renewal-related requests, making you the first point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
With your expertise in account management and a keen eye for detail, you'll maintain accurate pricing, forecast data, and aim for a stellar 100% on-time renewal rate.

LOCATION 100% Remote - Anywhere within the US RESPONSIBILITIES Acting on behalf of Finalsite as the primary sales interface for renewals Partners with cross-functional renewal team on processing renewal contracts and pricing to clients.
Centralized Management of NY BOCES client renewal agreements First point of contact for internal and external renewal related requests, including customer-facing, operational, pricing, quoting, and contract facilitation Maintain accurate, up-to-date annual pricing across a large book of BOCES clients Maintain accurate renewal forecast data for assigned book of business in CRM Manages portfolio with the aim of achieving 100% on-time renewal rates.
Develops and executes creative strategies to exceed projected renewal targets.
Contribute to and assist in the executing the larger Finalsite renewal strategy in alignment with Finalsite’s company values and strategy Collaborates with Account Executives & Customer Success Advocates as necessary to ensure account health and proactively engage renewal risks Contact assigned customers to discuss the renewal schedule and begin negotiations.
Follow defined escalation path issues uncovered during renewal process Process quotes and renewal documents Monitor customer usage to ensure customer license has proper entitlement QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years work experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills, communication, analytical and creative problem-solving skills, and short-term and long-term planning skills.
Previous experience in effective account management, strong customer orientation, and client renewal process.
Demonstrated ability to provide direction to and development of teammates for successful client retention.
Fluency in written and spoken English are required, other languages a plus.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of internal and external audiences.
Computer proficiency, including full command of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel), SalesForce and other applications utilized for position Proven quick study and excellent organization and time management skills.
Willing to travel at least 5% of the time.
Strong team player and multi-tasker.
Ability to exercise discretion, creative decision-making, and good judgment.
Demonstrated competence in negotiation skills.
Related experience in account management and client support and retention.
Previous experience in a K-12 setting.
Demonstrated ability to support Marketing, Sales, RFP, and other efforts towards successful client acquisition and retention.
