*About the Job*
*Position: CNC Repair Technician*
This position's responsibility includes troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery and components.
Which consist of electrical and mechanical components of the CNC equipment.
Typical equipment consists of 3,4,5 Axis Mills.
Vertical and horizontal turning machines.
Other occasional building maintenance may be required.
*Responsibilities: *
Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) as required
Troubleshooting production equipment failures and malfunctions
Testing and aiding in the implementation of equipment & equipment moves
Repairing Hydraulic systems
Occasional welding/sheet metal fabrication
Basic electrical repair
Computer skills, placing POs for components and parts
Good housekeeping practices is a must
Knowledge of appropriate PPE and work practices to limit exposure to injury risks
Operating forklift, and man lifts
Other duties as requested from supervisor
*Qualifications: *
3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing basic hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanics and electrical CNC components.
Basic knowledge of CNC machines: spindles, ball screws, bearing, guilds, scales.
Understanding of OSHA safety standards, such as Lock out/Tag out, Hazards waste spill/clean up
Capable of using standard repair tools, such as multi meters, welders, standard hand tools.
Basic Ability to read and interpret machine manuals and documentation.
*Physical Demands: *
Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend.
Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead and bend to the floor.
Occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force.
Frequently exert up to 25 pounds of force.
Frequently exert up to 10 pounds of force.
Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
