*JOB TYPE: *
FULL TIME – Hours from 8 to 5 with 1hour lunch.
*JOB DESCRIPTION:*
We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain & repair vehicles.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues & repairing them.
You need to be well-versed in complex mechanical or electrical systems of vehicles & have excellent problem solving abilities.
You also must be a good communicator to provide advice to customers.
*RESPONSIBILITIES: *
* Inspect vehicle engine & mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
* Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.
) aiming to vehicle functionality & longevity.
* Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts & fix issues (ex.
leaks).
* Must be able to perform routine automotive maintenance tasks including the following:
Oil changes, tire rotation, transmission & coolant flushes, air conditioner re-charges, battery installation, headlight/taillight installations, electrical & check engine light diagnosis, emission related failure diagnosis & repair, steering & suspension diagnosis & repair, & brake repair.
*SKILLS REQUIRED:*
* Proven experience as auto mechanic and must have your own tools.
* Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical & electronic components of vehicles.
* Ability to handle various tools (ex.
pliers) & heavy equipment (ex.
lift, tire machine).
* High school diploma
* ASE certification is a definite plus.
