We are looking for a Maintenance Repair Machinist to Perform mechanical repairs, installation, fabrication or preventive maintenance on presses and other production equipment to achieve maximum efficiency.
Essential Functions:
Diagnose machine malfunctions and conduct repairs.
Properly plan for large maintenance projects by ensuring sufficient tools, equipment, material, and parts are on-hand when needed.
Build and dismantle complex machine assemblies.
Perform regular inspections of machines and equipment.
Identify vulnerabilities on equipment and establish preventive maintenance plans to mitigate those risks.
Schedule and complete preventive maintenance tasks at a required frequency
Identify opportunities to improve preventive maintenance plans and reduce unscheduled downtime.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, manuals, and specifications.
Operate metal working tools to make and repair parts.
Follow all safety rules and regulations and maintain training in Lock-out/Tag-out, Welding and Cutting Safety, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection and Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response
Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Successful completion of Machinist apprenticeship or 5 to 7 years experience.
This is position falls under the Collective Bargaining Agreement
First Shift 6:42am 3:12pm - $30.
