Are you ready to go beyond? Position Overview: The F100 Strategy Associate Director will work as part of the F100 Strategy team Associate Director and will be involved in crafting and implementation of new strategies to support this critical engine for the next 50 years.
The successful candidate will support and lead teams within a matrix environment and work collaboratively to deliver strategic recommendations to Military Engines’ senior leadership.
This role will typically support multiple projects simultaneously and provides the opportunity to influence a wide breadth of F100 engine program’s critical business decisions.
Accordingly, the position will have significant executive-level exposure.
The role also provides ample opportunity for learning and development through both formal and informal training.
Key Job Responsibilities: Develop short-term & long-term strategies in partnership with functional teams to close gap to F100 business plan.
Support implementation of strategic tasks across top F100 program priorities.
Shape F100 sustainment strategy, consolidate customer models to improve sustainment margins.
Work on F100 sourcing strategy, explore and setup partnerships in various countries, develop and implement creative strategies to ensure fleet health.
Engage in portfolio shaping exercises such as cost optimization, business case development, scenario analysis, partnership agreements and licensing transactions.
Guide teams in identifying new technological opportunities and support technology insertion activities.
Research and keep track of external competitive trends and threats across F100 life cycle.
Support crafting digital solutions across the engine value stream, including digital tools for engine configuration management, solutions to streamline fleet and parts management, digital solutions for MRO landscape.
Advocate for culture change to drive process improvements with internal and external stakeholders.
Mobilize and influence colleagues charged with executing strategies.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or other related field are preferred areas of study with 12+ years’ experience in Strategy, Manufacturing, Operations Supply Chain, Quality, or, advanced degree with 10+ years’ experience Strategy, Manufacturing, Operations Supply Chain, Quality required.
10+ years of Project management experience leading a cross functional team.
10+ years’ experience demonstrated strong knowledge of tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Qlik, Business Warehouse.

Preferred Qualifications: Background in Strategy, Material management, Industrial operations, Inventory management knowledge and/ or supply chain experience.
Familiar with military or commercial engine production and overhaul processes.
Demonstrated ability to connect diverse interests and customer needs.

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
